I don’t have have much to say on this blog entry but I’m trying to challenge myself to take a photo that is at least someone what interesting each day.

This one is looking out one of my front windows at the storm clouds that just rolled in. I was born in the midwest but have lived in the Las Vegas area for my entire adult life. We don’t get much rain and rarely actual rainstorms so when it it happens it’s a treat and I love to take some photos of it.
I hope all of you are well. I appreciate anyone who watches my videos or visits this blog. I’m still humbled by anyone taking time out of their day to see what I have to share.

Still on my bucket list to visit Vegas. Ive always wanted to go. Maybe when I eventually get there we could meet up and go take some shots.
Loving what you’ve captured. The black and white certainly captures the mood and feel of a storm.
Question, do you shoot in black and white or convert afterwards?
Hey Nathan, I hope you’re able to visit Vegas someday!
Most of the time I shoot with a black & white recipe. Even though I often edit RAWs it helps get me close to the final product when editing. Capture One does a great job of respecting your camera settings when you go to edit. Plus, when shooting with the B&W recipe the JPEGs are ready to share right away which is what I’ve been doing with this blog on these most recent posts. Occasionally I will shoot color and convert later though.
