“GOLD LEAF 1” – A Fujifilm X-T1 Film Simulation Recipe

Westerns. Desert landscapes. Sunsets.
These were all running through my mind when I was creating this recipe.

Just like with some of my other recipes this film simulation recipe doesn’t mimic any specific film stock.
This look is a bit extreme in a few aspects compared to most 35mm film stocks.

The white balance setting is the key element here and is a great example of how important this setting is in these recipes.

“GOLD LEAF 1” RECIPE SETTINGS

SUMMARY

Picking a recipe with a setting like this set the stage for creative accidents. The type of thing that happens when you’re actually shooting with film.

This look may be a bit too much for a lot of situations but it’s a good one to have in your back pocket.

Try it out and let me know how it works out for you.
