Day 27 has gone away. I wrote and progress was made.

I’m writing again now and coming up on a flashback scene in my script. In my script I’m merely putting the year the scene takes place so the reader knows it’s a flashback. I wonder how this flashback and other flashbacks in this film will be handled. I intend to make this film with my brother but even though I will be directing I don’t know how I will approach the flashbacks visually. Maybe they won’t need any different visual treatment or at least not a drastic one. I probably won’t decide this for a while but this does get me thinking of one of my favorite science fiction films of the past 20 years, Minority Report. In that film there are flashbacks and flashforwards and they both have a similar visual treatment to them. It’s a great film. If you haven’t seen it, definitely check it out.

I’m sitting outside, sipping coffee and enjoying the wonderful fall weather before we get a little sample of winter weather this weekend.
